Growing up right before all of this new-fangled animation, I grew up with the "classic" Disney cell animation. Looks so much better than CGI (though I think that if they actually put forth some effort CGI could easily replicate their previous cell-style). Makes it tough for me to watch these new animations.
Perhaps not all the animation, but the general behavior of the characters seems to get pushed edgier each time. I could still watch "kid's movies" like Disney / Pixar animated films, but I think that they've shifted a lot to trying to entertain adults at the same time as kids, corrupting them in my mind. Also, the songs suck now compared to the older songs, for the most part.
I'll probably catch this one, though, heard a lot of good things about it.
