I think i killed my processor fan... :(

Whoops.... The pins fell out while i was messing around in there so i plugged it back in while the system was on (like ive done 1000x before), i think ive figured out the order of the pins but its not coming on at all. I think she be blown.

Have you tried a different fan connector or power source? I plugged a fan in once and it sparked. The fan connector on the MOBO didnt work after that. I guess I am lucky it didnt fry the whole board.

Were you messing around in the system while it was on too? Or did you just notice the disconnection when the system was turned on?
I guess we learned another lesson in the importance of hot-plugging only those components that are made for it.
