I think i killed my keyboard :(

I have a MS Keyboard elite and accidentally someone spill some syrup on top of it. After i finish clean it, I didn't get any response at all. Did I just killed it? anybody know how to fix it. I would really appreciate it.
Because i'm thinking to buy one and bestbuy they sell it for $39.99 too expensive for me.

most likely, if its not functioning it's already gone .. let it sit for awhile and let it dry .. if it still does not work you will need to replace it ..

take the keys off and clean it
