So, we're going to Mackinaw Island in August. With the room reservations, I got an Adult Family Fun Package - that includes tickets for an Island Ferry, Carriage Tour, and Admission to Fort Mackinac. EXCEPT...I put in 2 as the quantity (me+husband). I figured this was a good deal $62 value for $50. I just looked to see how much all these cost individually, and the most expensive options are:

Ferry - $18 roundtrip
Fort Mackinac - $9.50
Carriage Tour - $18

THis only adds up to $45.50 x2 = $91 So, unless there is something that I don't know about, I am being taken for at least $9. :(

This makes me sad

Sometimes packages include free food..or something..are you sure there aren't any extras included?

The extra $9 is the administration fee for the Adult Family Fun Package. Somebody has to put that thing together.

If that's the way you feel, be glad you've never visited Cancun.

What a rip... IF it's your first time there. I've gone 4 times and learned my lesson the first time.
