I regularly have to fill up with 94 octane with my 26 gallon Caddy, being in Canada it usually costs about $110.00.

what do you drive that takes 22 gal?

IIRC, he has a Ford Explorer.

wow, i totally didnt know trucks/SUVs had so large of a fuel capacity.

Cars should have a range of ~350 miles per tank, so the worse the MPG, the bigger the tank. The only exception I know of are hybrids, which have a high MPG rating and a normal (car sized) tank, which have a much higher "range."

And I can't even make any cracks about that being $10 US anymore.

You beat me, but by only about $1. My Caprice has a 21gal tank, and I finally had to bite the bullet and fill up before I stalled on the side of the road.

I usually average around $30 now (2007 MINI Cooper). I once spent $60 filling my A4 after hurricane Katrina, though :(

The tank holds 22.5 gallons and the gas light came on, so the number of gallons pumped in sounds about right...but it is a bit odd to see it stop at exactly $75 (I used a CC). Maybe there was a cut off..

I usually fill up about 16 gallons, once I filled up 18.5 (only 1.5 from bone dry). The Altima's got a 20 gallon tank :D

I think $75 is the CC cutoff when paying at the pump

closest I've gotten to that was 20-some gallons into a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L I-6, it cost me $72.
You sir, just hit the credit card gasoline daily authorization limit. Congratulations!

My Ram has a 35 gallon tank...

Needless to say it's alot to fill it up. :(

Can't wait to get it paid off, so I can get a more economical beater to run around town in.
