This is the computer I'll be bringing to college, so I put a solid amount of money into it, tell me what you think.

MSI K8N NEO2 PLATINUM BUNDLE W/ RETAILED Details (AMD ATHLON 64 3200+; KINGSTON 1GB DDR400(512MB X 2); NO TESTING) $482.50

MSI NX6600GT VTD 128MB AGP 8X DDR W/VIVO/DVI Details $219.00

SEAGATE 120GB ST3120024A 8MB UATA100 7200RPM 8MB 8.5MS (Bare drive) Details (18" ATA DATA CABLE) $91.50

ANTEC TRUE430 430W UL & FCC POWER SUPPLY FOR ATX CASES Details $70.00

ANTEC PRO 80mm DOUBLE BALL BEARING FAN FOR CASE W/4PIN CONNECTOR Details $7.50

I think this should do it, but if im missing anything let me know. I plan on using on-board sound. Also, do I need anything else for cooling? I have another Antec 80mm fan that I plan on using with it too. I want this thing to be as stable as possible, I don't plan on over clocking. Any tips?

I would choose a motherboard that supports zalman 7700Cu and then also buy the certain CPU cooler.

If hes not OCing the stock cooler should be fine.

ANd to the OP your setup looks fine to me

But it makes a lot less noise, which is pretty important IMHO, otherwise just go with the 7000Cu cooler on the msi board.
