I think I have got the Flu, snow and ice are bad, and other rants :(

Past few days my throat has been sore and bleeding. Today I am having horrible body aches, head ache and generally feel like crap. My throat hurts most when I cough and it is not as swollen as it was. The body aches are what is the worst. Does this sound like the Flu or is just one of those bugs? No nausea yet. Thank God.

I am supposed to go see my sister in the hospital but I am not sure if I should go. She and her hubby just told us that she was pregnant again. That night they rushed her to the hospital with side pains. They think the egg is lodged in her tubes and that she will probably lose her baby. My sister also made the mistake of telling her daughter(Eden) who is four that she was about to be a big sister. How would you explain the loss of a baby to her?

I forgot to add that I am having to get my car fixed! In the sudden snowstorm on New Year's the roads got a little bad. I was sliding all over the place. No one around here knows how to drive in the snow and I had to dodge several people. Finally I zigged when I should have zagged and fubared my rim. I also cracked and scratched my bumper. So since my other wheels were already chipped(curbs are bad), I ordered some new ones. I ordered some decent rims(Konig Villains) and Nitto Drag Radials. It was 1450 dollars!!! Plus add in around 250 for the bumper and I am out a wad of cash. I would report it to insurance but the road was closed while we were on it(no we did not know it was closed, it was closed after we got on it). Well I guess this says that nittos don't do well in the snow and ice, and that RWD with street tires makes it worse.

Oh well, another day in my unlucky life. Anyone want to shoot me or take my family hostage? I could use some more bad luck.

Flu: Do you have a fever? That almost always accompanies the flu. But yes, the aches are terrible.

Hospital: Call first. I am sure they will understand you have the best intentions if you do not visit.

Loss of baby: Yes, it is an error to make a big deal about mommy being pregnant to one so young. My sister-in-law had a stillborn (9 months) and told the then 2-yr old daughter about it! Crazy! Why burden the child with their pain. Plus they have pictures of the the dead child on their mantle. Explain that one.

I would not make a big deal about it to the child and let it mostly slide. They don't have the maturity to handle death.

I don't really have a fever. My shoulders are on fire and so is my face, but my forehead is not hot.

Damn I just now found out that it will be Friday before my wheels come, and probably longer for the bumper.


And I lost the number to the girl I like! What kind of fscking luck do I have?

Hmm well body aches are the big symptons of the Flu. As for the throat, that sounds pretty bad, but from what i have expierienced myself and what i have seen my friends go through.....you still got a long way to go, lol. The throat is usually the FIRST sympton. After your throat, you should start getting headaches and a fever should be coming on. After the fever, your nose should be running like crazy and afterwards a cough comes a calling. But once you have begin to cough, well atleat for me, i am on the last leg of the Flu journey, lol. I usually don't have a cough that lasts maybe 1 or 2 weeks.

but the throat bleeding? You should see your doctor. Pneumonia also has flu like symptoms too, including also the fact that fluid is building up in your lungs, lol.

Good luck, I just went through the flu last week. Sucks like heck. I basically slept and drank tea during the whole week. Atleast you'll lose a few pounds if you need to.
