I Think I Have COVID Again

2 years ago I got tested and they told me I had COVID.

I couldn't breathe through my nose and my nose was leaking and I couldn't sleep because my nose was more stopped up when laying down.

literally the same thing is happening right now.

It's pretty late in the day, so I think I'll go to the doctor tomorrow.

Take a breath, hold it. While doing so, pinch your nose, tilt your head back and lower your bottom jaw as much as you can while keeping your mouth closed. Another trick is to pull on your ear lobe out while using your thumb to rub under bone beneath your eye. I have a condition where I get stomach acid in my sinuses and these things help

I'm sure your doctor will love you for potentially exposing them to covid when you could have just done a lateral flow test.

Why would you go to a doctor? What's he gonna do about it? If you have a cold, he'll do nothing. If you have covid, he'll do nothing. If you have flu, he'll do nothing. Maybe you have aids. They can do something about that.

Are you going to wear a mask?
Seems weird to jump straight to Covid when you're describing typical cold symptoms. Why not ask Dr. AI if you have Covid?

Get well soon.

I don't honestly see the reason to go to the doctor when you can just get a test that will cover both Covid and the flu. But, you do you.

The current strain going around, Stratus, is often accompanied by a particularly severe throat soreness. You haven't mentioned that. Here are the others:
Many symptoms of the 2025 Stratus mutation are like previous versions of COVID-19. The most frequent symptoms include:
  • Persistent, dry cough
  • Tiredness or fatigue
  • Fever
Some people may also notice:
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chest tightness
  • Sore or scratchy throat
  • Headaches and body aches
  • Upset stomach, nausea, or loss of appetite
  • Loss of taste or smell (now less common)
  • Brain fog or trouble concentrating

Those aren't the symptoms you are describing. But, everyone reacts differently.
