Dammit! I'm going to the trainers tomorrow for a professional diagnosis, but from what I've researched and what other people say, I think there's a fairly good chance I have a tibial stress fracture. If so, that means no running for several months. Which means I'll miss the godamn track season yet again, and will sink to a depressingly low fitness level. I swear I'm cursed when it comes to track. And the bitterly ironic part is, I'm the fittest and fastest I've ever been right now.

If you ewant to continue exercising - consider the swin team if it's an option. It's non-impact, correct (which is what I'm assuming would prevent you from running?)?

ugh. I am the worst swimmer on this board, I'm willing to bet. I hate it to boot. I might be able to bring myself to swim maybe ondce or twice a week, but to do that day in and day out, I think I'd kill myself. Even the exercise bike is preferable.
