I ordered all the parts for my new rig and it should be here latter today. The problem is that i think i am stupid. I ordered this case http://direct.mwave.com/mwave/doc/A00610.html for an epox 8k7a motherboard. I dont know what i was thinking. I am correct in assuming it wont work since it is an AT case not an ATX case, or am i alright? Just thought i would ask before i ran out in a flutter to Compusa in the morning. Thanks again.

It dosn't say that it is a AT case, but it does say that it requires a baby motherboard.

I don't know much about the board you are using but will it fit?

If it is an AT case an ATX Motherboard will probably not work. You will have to swap out the power supply and it will only work if you have the right piece on the back to accept all the plugs (mouse, keyboard, usb etc) that an ATX board has.

You are not stupid. You just got caught up in Geek fever.Just relax, when all the parts get there, see if they'll fit. Most of my cases will take either, they have adapter plates, etc.

I don't know about the power supply, but I'm guessing that if your connectors don't match up,you might possibly get an At-to-ATX adapter. If not,go to a computer show and trade your case/PS(+cash) for something that will work.

Or sell/trade it off on "For sale" forum.

Don't be so hard on yourself.

I bought a 400 watt ATX powersupply also to go with it so that might help, the problem i see though is that the face plate is different. Oh well i will see if it works otherwise i will bite the bullet and just return it. thanks guys.
