I think I got the job!

I've been doing temp work for the university I attend for the last 7 months and they had to replace one of the Systems Administrators.... So I figured, what the heck, I'll apply for the job. They interviewed me yesterday and one of the senior programmers on the interview board congratulated me after I interviewed. It wasn't an official answer cause Human Resources has to confirm it, but this might be REALLY cool. If I get the job, they'll pay the rest of my tuition and I'll be making better money... Not bad for someone that's 22.

I'll be a Network Server Administrator and taking care of backups for all the servers on campus...plus I'm on a team that's replacing our Email, File Storage, and printing solutions... I need your prayers cause I won't know until next week sometime if I got the job or not...I'll be drunk until then.

Awesome man- jobs like that seem to be few and far between these days! Congrats! I'm hoping to get a job like that next year after I graduate (I'll be 22 as well).

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga....certainly not too big, but I'll be supporting servers that get hit by about 14,000 clients.

The employed workforce group??? Hehe....I've, unfortunately, been working with these stupid computer things since 1997...of course I started playing on them much earlier....like when I was 4 years old...you do the math.
