I think I got ripped off trying to order a t-shirt

I got a money order on 10/12/02!! for $12 to order a t-shirt from www1208music.com (a band). I triple checked that I followed all the instructions correctly. After a long time that I didn't recieve I emailed and got a reply saying they no longer directly handled merchandise, but he will make sure the shirt gets sent out. Several weeks pass and still no shirt so I emailed the guy back asking wtf is up. No reply since then and it has been at least a couple weeks.

WTF? It's not a huge deal, but I kinda hate to get schiested out of $12!

they could have ripped you off or they could have screwed up in the ordering process, sorry you lost your money though.

I can't do anything? Isn't a money order a federal goverment thing so it's protected?

Did you buy your money order from the Postal Service? Take your receipt back to the post office and see what they can do about a refund.

Go back to where you got it and put a tracer on it. If its been cashed they will send you a copy of it. If it hasnt they will send a refund of the MO amount

I got it from the credit union I am a member of. They could put a tracer on it there?
