My RDRAM moduals are supposed to be set in the mobo in pairs, but recently i switched them around and by accident i put the wrong modual in the wrong pair

was like this

(256mb 256mb) (128mb 128mb)

but i accidently put it like this
(256mb 128mb) (256mb 128mb)

everything spins up buy i get a black screen and my monitor's power light goes from normal green and blips to standby yellow.

i freaked out and put the moduals back in the right positions but now i cant get any screen at all...and i have to hold down the power button to turn it off.

did i fry my memory or motherboard?

help please... 🙁

Try resetting the bios but other than that it might be a lost cause. Not worth getting replacement memory, soo expensive.

Unplug the system from the power - don't just turn it off.
Take out battery for a few seconds. reverse process.

If no luck, try leaving the battery out for an hour or so.... nothing ventured, nothing gained.
