I tried to remove the shortcut arrow overlay using the Vista Shortcut Overlay Remover as described here:
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto...rlay-in-windows-vista/
And I recieved an error message, and now my icons are little blank pages with some boxes in them (and they still have the arrows). It won't let me delete them, or change the icon; it says the file doesn't exist. I can create new icons and those look fine, but all the old ones are stuck there. Any idea what might have went wrong?
