I think I bought the wrong motherboard ;\

Hello,
I just purchased a new Motherboard and CPU.

My question is, did I buy the wrong motherboard for my CPU? the reason I ask is becuase I was looking at the CPU Type it says only Athlon 64 FX/Athlon 64/Sempron and not X2. I should I have bought this Motherboard instead. Thanks so much for helping.

Nope, you're fine. You just might have to flash the latest bios in order for it to recognize the X2 correctly.

You do. It'll only recognize one core that's all, and it'll lag like hell if you don't flash it 😉.
