Hello all, I started betting last week. I made some stupid moves and lost 90 dollars. I refilled my account today and bet 30 dollars and basically got the worst possible outcome, I parlayed 3 teams and lost the last game by 1 point on the spread (ok end of rant). How do I kick the habit? I feel like I am bound for some good luck considering how screwed I just got today. Anyone ever get over something like this? Thanks

Keep going. Get in way over your head. Oh some people a lot of money. Rob a couple banks and get caught and spend your best years in prison. Get out as a convicted felon and try to make any kind of life with that label. After that, you will probably think twice about gambling.

Keep gambling, just increase your bet to try to catch up your previous loss. Eventually the luck will come your way and win it back.

Losing 120 bucks isn't compulsive gambling. Quit now

Gambling of any kind is evil.

I only dabble with small stuff, but even still, i don't want to think about how much $$$ i've tossed away because of it.

The extent of my gambling is buying maybe $10 lottery tickets a year.

That's it I'm going to enroll in gamblers anon ;)

My mate would be up £50 before breakfast...down £2'000 over night...not play for a few days and be a moping b@stard and then be up £2'500 in a single day...crazy!

Stay away from ANY GAMBLING as you will fall back in. Everytime you want to gamble go outside for a quick walk around the block :thumbsp; or call a friend to chat.

I dont think you are, you bet like I do.

Losing is not fun and you will soon become bored with the whole thing.

Put $100 on Michigan for me though :)

Life is filled with risks. For example, you take a gamble every time you get into a car. Sure, its not financial, but it could result in loss of life or expensive medical bills.

If you really think you could become a compulsive gambler, stop now. What you have lost is nothing compared to what you can lose in the future.

If you play with odds, you can win in the long run... or can you. That must just be poker and odds.

Smart gambling helps too. My BIL bought a quinella ticket at the horse races last week. He boxed 4 numbers and the 4 horses actually finished in the order he picked.

$24 for the ticket, paid $12.50

ha, my sis was so pissed at him :)

It's just sometimes those stretches were u need the money and don't have it sucks. Bet smart. Remember, football is rigged.

If you are betting under 10% of your gross income, you aren't compulsive gambling
