I think Bush did a great job with the speech.

Actions speak louder than words.

I think it's pretty sad that so many people are so easily swayed by one speech despite the actions of the past.

I didn't listen to it. I already know I'm voting for him.

Edit-Kerry is the presidential equivalent of Grey (aka Joe) Davis. I just can't vote for that guy. He's a quivering mass of indecision just like ol Joe Davis was.

yup, both sides suck - neither is a good decision.

what's sad is when you are forced to choose between the lesser of two evils...

I just realized the truth in what I was told long ago. The masses are gullible and will believe anything if you are a good speaker. I know Hitler was a great speaker and that's how he managed to get so much support but never before have I realized how true this is. You can do anything you want, but so long as you can speak well, you can get people to support you. I'm not supporting Kerry, I dont' like him either, but I have just found an all new low opinion of the intelligence of americans.

At least Joe Davis had a job that he couldn't handle.

The other guy ......................

Exactly. And his actions have been pretty good. Not quite conservative enough, but OK.

About the speech... when he was referring to reforming the tax system, to which plan was he referring? FairTax, Flat tax, or some other patchup?

That's correct. I hate how the masses listen to the media and are gullible enough to vote for a waffle like Kerry.

I heard he wants to toss the IRS to the wayside and create a simple flat tax.

It's too bad there are too many roadblocks to this.

I don't think I'll live long enough to see a simplified tax code.

Ah, gotcha- before the RNC, everybody loved to bash his speaking ability, now it's hip to compare him to a killer of millions, instead of a liberator of millions.

Well, under Armey's plan, the IRS remains... At this point the FairTax looks most viable.

Gray Davis

In 1961, while at Stanford University, Gray Davis joined the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) with a commitment to enter military service after completing law school. He entered active duty in the U.S. Army in 1967, rising to the rank of captain while serving in Vietnam in 1968-69. In Vietnam he earned the Bronze Star for meritorious service. He is a life member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
So Gray outranks John in Vietnam. Is Gray your new hero now?

No because the P&N forum should be called the Liberal hate forum. 🙁

I hope he works on it though. It's been a dream of the republican party for quite some time - I work at an accounting firm so I know this is no simple task, but it CAN be done...

And Kerry supports the killing of MANY more babies through his support of abortion and even partial-borth abortion. What's your point?
