Discussion I switched to a Thermaltake Level 20 XT case

For the past 13 years I've kept my builds in the same CM HAF 932 case but about 10 days ago I switched to a cube and love it. I've looked at tons of cases and noticed the trend away from 5.25" drive bays, something that I've always had in my builds for my optical drives and hot swap docks but not this time. I also noticed how much glass the newer cases have allowing full view of the internals and I liked it so......I bought a new case.

I ended up going with the Thermaltake Level 20 XT case which is humongous and quite hefty at over 50lbs dry weight without anything inside. I've installed 19 Antec Prizm X fans inside it with 10 intake and 9 exhaust and its cooler inside than my HAF 932 ever thought about being. My 13900k temps stay under 150°F while gaming using an EVGA CL360 AIO with Antec Prizm X fans (3 of the 9 exhaust).

I'm using 3 Antec ARGB controllers and a CM 10 fan pwm controller to cut down on the fan wires running back to the motherboard. I never thought that I'd ever use such a large case but it has plenty of room for future expansion should I choose to do it along with two drive racks that I removed for the bottom fans. My sata drives are underneath the mb tray and my bdrw is now in an external enclosure and my mb holds 5 nvme drives.

I've also got a HAF932 case that's about to be sold or scrapped. Couldn't figure a decent wat to fit a 280mm radiator in the top, even though CM says it will fit 3x120mm fans. Just not enough width to mount it.
That TT cube case is sharp as hell. I ALMOST went with one of the Hyte Y60 cases, but stumbled into the be quiet Dark Base Pro 900 Rev.2 for cheap as chips...so my budget dictated I go that way.

Respect for that, my record is about 10 years (2006 - 2016) with a Chieftec case. Switched to a Corsair Carbide 600C after that

Its a really cool case. I love the aquarium look. But its not a small case.
