When in ME , the system will OC to 933@1100
FSB=158 stable, no problem.. ??? so ???
When in W2K , the system will only OC to FSB 150
or so stable, and WON'T boot at FSB 158
I am running it at FSB 143 (1002mHz) no problem.
Should I....
(1) Switch CPUs/Sockets and make sure the CPU2
is capable of FSB 158 in ME also?
(2) Give er' MORE voltage (1.85v now CPU)
(3.3v now IO/MEM)
(3) Live with 1002mHz..... nahhh. No Way...
Alpha's on both,
91.3F and 93.6F with 2/Prime95 or RC5
120mmFans/Artic/etc.
Guess I could return the weaker cpu for another
one, but it's a cr*p shoot the next one would be
any better.
I have seen at O'cers and O'cersOnline users posts
of VP6's running stable at FSB 158 (1102 mHz)
Any Ideas?
