It seems like at the beginning of each game Madden generates a random number, based on which it dramatically adjusts the stats of one of the teams. No, I don't play as Texans or 49ers. I play on 2nd hardest difficulty level and I win most of the time, yet
every once in a while there's a game which almost makes you think you were going to lose no mater what.
I just played a game where the following happend:
1) My offensive tackle got bull rushed by a corner back!
2) My defense dropped 4 easy interception, my wide receivers dropped at least 4 easy passes.
3) My offensive line couldn't block anybody, the were turning my QB into a punching bag.
4) My QB completely missed 3-4 wide open throws. And not like a minor overthrow either, that ball was 3 rows into the stands
5) On a punt return that I was about to return for a TD, my punt returner got run back from behind by a lineman!!!
6) This is the best of all: on the last seconds of the game, with the score tied my opponent has the ball on their own 20. I call a relatively safe defensive play. He hits his WR 10 yards down the field, then somehow 2 of my defenders wiff, and the third falls down and he outruns everybody for a TD!
