Haven't been here for awhile, but when I come back d*mn-near 3 inches of the Forum is chopped of by an ad with help links

Any way to get rid of the ads? Or is this the new freeware version of the Forums? -kd5-

No more ads, nor white space... Just set it up right and your golden

127.0.0.1 images.anandtech.com
127.0.0.1 pagead.googlesyndication.com

to my hosts file - doesn't bring back the left side of the screen but I don't have to look at the ad

It's not legit, since first of all you posted it in the wrong forum, this topic has been brought up like 100 times, and you are bitching about something you don't have to pay for, even going as far to use the rolling eyes icon ias if it should be provided to you for free.
