The irony is moderators dont understand the interworkings of forums and fail to realize that so called posters provide entertainment value and provide an increase in eyeballs and posts.

There's no irony here.

We all understand the need for forum "chew toys" here to provide entertainment value.
Why do you think so many last here for so long?

In many other forums, they would have been gone much faster. We allow them to continue for as long as the entertainment value they provide is greater the the grief and detriment they cause the forum and its members.
