I support discriminating against inter-faith sex

As all sex should be within marriage, this means I also support discriminating against inter-faith marriage. For example, often times in America today, a Christian will marry a Jew. This is an abberation of God's will. How can a believer in God (Christian) marry a murderer of God (Jew)? Banning inter-faith marriage, and consequently, inter-faith sex, will surely redeem our nation in God's eyes and prevent another September 11th.

1.) Jew's aren't Christ killers, as Christ himself was a Jew; Jews are the chosen people of God; and are the best humanity had to offer; you can honestly say if the Jews would kill Jesus anyone else would have done as much or more negatively to him
2.)the bible is quite clear that people of un-like faith shouldn't marry; but their are plenty of Messianic Jews, and we legislate from ethical convictions, i don't belive this matter of doctrine has an ethical level about it; If you honestly do then that's why we've got elected representatives;
3.)that Jews shouldn't marry outside of their faith is often put-forth by the Jewish community so as to stave-off genocide.
4.)I'd love to hear what you have to say on a logical ethical level about this, because i can't think of one defensible ethical argument for your stance

Banning inter-faith marriage, and consequently, inter-faith sex, will surely redeem our nation in God's eyes and prevent another September 11th.

that's just silly; if you can find some sort of logical or ethical argument for it I'd LOVE to hear it; otherwise this troll-post should be locked down.

"The abortionists have got to bear some of the burden for this because God will not be mocked. I really believe that the Pagans and the abortionists and feminists and the gays and lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternate life style, the ACLU people for the American Way--all of them who have tried to secularize America. I point the finger in their face and say "You helped this happen!"

How dare you call my religious convictions silly? You are a liberal, un-Christian pagan if you bash my religion, the true interpretation of God's Word.

My god is NOT your god. If your people don't stop trying to have sex with and/or marry my people, I swear I will support a constitutional amendment.

even if this made sense it doesn't apply to inter-faith marriage.

Just as the good Reverend correctly identifies gays, lesbians, abortionists, the ALCU, etc. as sinners against God's Will, so too do I make the distinction that inter-faith marriages are against God's Will. Just as the good Reverend recieves his information through the Holy Spirit, so too do I.

And I don't appreciate you're name calling. It's so typically liberal I should have expected it from you.

A friendly word of caution to you Zephyr...........

So far you have been attempting a mostly light hearted jab at Christian/conservative thinking and thats ok....... All in fun I guess, but you mentioned:

Just as the good Reverend recieves his information through the Holy Spirit, so too do I.

There is something refered to as "the unforgivable sin" your treading dangerously close. Blaspheming God is one thing but please consider your words with respect to the Holy Spirit

Consider:

Truly I tell you, people will be forgiven for their sins and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit can never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin" (Mark 3:28?29, NRSV). These words of Jesus, found in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, contrast blasphemies for which one may receive forgiveness with the blasphemy "against the Holy Spirit," for which one never has forgiveness. Since there is no forgiveness for such blasphemy, the person who commits it is guilty of "an eternal sin." Hence, that sin has come to be known as "the unforgivable sin."

this is not any kind of threat, joke or anything else. Im serious PLEASE be careful :frown:

You mention here about blaspheming, yet this populates the thread about "discriminating against homosexual sex":

Yes, i think Jesus was gay, he said to turn the other cheek... and everyone misunderstands what he meant by that

And you convieniently skipped over it.

And what makes you think I am lighthearted in my posts? I am deadly serious in my articulation of my faith, and yet you mock my religion with your bigotted, condescending replies. Perhaps someday you will see the Truth of God and stop persecuting Christians. Be careful, because persecution is a dangerous sin as well.

Tell me more about this unforgivable sin. It sounds like the kind of thing I would do. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? What does that mean....I really want to get it right.

Did you ever consider the possibility that somebody did a number on your mind using fear.

Not at all. He was getting dangerously close to the mortal sin of judging others without looking at the mote in his own eye. I was just trying to save him.

Most of my close friends are Christians, all of whom I deeply respect and care for, and whose faith I admire. You and Roman's "faith" is based on fear and ignorance, and is deserving of nothing but contempt.

What's up with the troll/parody threads?

I thought the MODs would have locked them down. I see they got one but the others stand?
Don't we already have enough "you're a bigot and I'm tolerant" threads?

Meh - have your fun. May God have mercy on all of our souls...
