I suck at the phone

Yeah, its sad really, but I really do suck at using the phone. Especially when it comes to leaving messages. What do you say to someone you really want to talk to, and you REALLY want them to call you back, but you know that the more info you give them about why you're calling, the less likely they are to call back???

make the message sound like your cell phone is breaking up and say the word "emergency" at the end then quickly end the call.

Just say, "Hey it's X. Call me back when you get this."

That's pretty much what I said. But they haven't called back. I've called a few times but I think they're outta the office...I don't want to leave another message. I'm always afraid that I either don't give enough info or I blab for too long. I'm a lot better on the blab part--my messages are now 30-40 seconds at most. But sometimes I leave a 10 second message and I wonder if that's enough.
