I suck at research :(

Hey all, normally I have no problems with research papers, but I'm having a tough time here:

I have to write a lengthy essay on George W. Bush's presidency. I've got a good portion of it done, but I'm getting stuck on researching some major issues, such as

Social Security
Overall Economy (his admin. vs. past presidents)
Education ("No Child Left Behind")
*specific* foreign relations issues, not a vague "the world hates us now" blanket statement

I was able to find most of my info, but I'm having trouble here with these little buggers. Obviously books are rare on the topics since it's current events, so I've been relying a lot on internet and magazines. The problem here with these topics is that the internet sources especially are a little ridiculous. I don't care if a source is biased, but I can't get info from whitehouse.gov, nor can I get it from bushsucks.com, if you know what I mean. I need something in between, and I can't seem to find any cold hard facts!

I'm not asking people to do my homework for me, but I'm lost. Any advice on where to look for this info?

This reminds me that I have a 10 page advanced composition paper due tomorrow and a seven page history paper due monday!

Thanks, I'm gonna go get to work now

`K

Did you even search for the words?

Did you even read my post? I can't get info from the website by the people who started the damn program, Geoff. Bias is ok, but they're not gonna give me even a glimpse of criticism there.

Sorry for snapping at you, but you must admit you're getting a bit smart at me for not even reading my post...

Have you tried knocking on his door yet? I'm sure he'd give you all the info you need. 😀

Are you looking for opinions on the No Child Left Behind act?

If you are, look at the teaching unions and organization's websites as they contain a great deal of information on the subject.
