well it's a saturday and I'm lazy.

google says 10mm = 0.393700787 in

which is inbetween 3/7 and 3/8th of an inch

x/10mm = 25.4mm/1"

-or-

25.4x = 10"

-or-

x = 10/25.4 inches = 0.3937"

To take that from decimal to fraction, multiply by 8, 16, 32, or 64 (to get eights, sixteenths, thirty-seconds or sixty-fourths)

0.3937" = ~6.3/16" = ~12.6/32" = ~25.2/64"

I probably make it sound more difficult than it is, but it's simple algebra. So long as you know that 1" = 25.4mm, the rest is just simple math.

10mm is very close to 3/8" inner diameter tubing.....very close.

Dude, you made it so much harder than it needed to be to figure it out.....see below:

1"=25.4mm

25.4mm / 8 = 3.175mm (This gives you a MM equivalent of 1/8")

3.175mm x 3 = 9.525mm (This gives you the MM equivalent of 3/8"....no hard algebra or lots of unnecessary steps in between.....)

So, your 3/8" diameter tubing is very close to the same internal diameter of 10mm tubing. Less than 0.5mm off. So, 3/8" tubing will fit a little tighter going over the 10mm barbs.
