only certain weapons go through objects. one can shoot through less stuff in steam it seems. just the doors mostly. high power weaps go through, sub machine guns and handguns(minus deagle) can't.

and yes cs dm servers rock for practice. choose weapons on spawn, no wait for spawn, it makes practice easy. no waiting, no risk so experimenting is no cost🙂 whats your mouse? got a good pad? is your sensitivity too high for good aiming?

and well wiki's got everything

there are other sites that show how weapons differ. cs had glass maps that helped show bullet registration since the decals didn't match hits. i'm not sure if source bullet hits match the decals though. they might.

and yes 60+fps makes aim easier.

If there was a way to highlight enemies in red and the rest of my team in blue that would help a crapload. Have a feeling nothing like that is possible though.

bahaha🙂 i used to skin original cs cts in dayglo green and the t's in blood red lol🙂 it helped a little. but honestly the models are pretty easy to tell apart once you get used to it, it just takes practice. i play source now so i don't fiddle with skins, and i'm probably better now than i was back then so no dif. only real advantage was when a tiny bit of the guy was poking out behind cover from far away, then it would be more obvious.
