I still love N.W.A.

I wish I could find my cassettes, that would be great. I envy you.

I have most of the videos on VHS also. Including Eazy-E's Promo on VHS. I keep em in my stash, who knows if they still play. I haven't seen a VHS player in forever.

You remember at the end of the 100 Mile's and Runnin tape, I think it was an "outro" of sorts, and they were announcing they're new album? They said, "The name of the new album is efilrofzaggin" over and over. It blew my mind when it came out and was actually called that....spelled backwards and all.

I think they took it off youtube, but if you can find it, the VH1 Behind the Music about NWA is really good and tells you a lot of the story about everything.

"She took her panties down and the bitch had a dick!"

lol and thats the song that made me start listening. a buddy of mine would play that when working out adn it caught my attention i then listened to the tape

If you happen to come across a link to that, it would be greatly appreciated. I looked some but found none.

Harley Race = Greatest NWA Champion ever and one tough SOB.

Eazy E was my 1st intro into rap that had "radio versions" with very different lyrics. I had heard a few rap songs with cuss words, but nothing serious. I remember a friend let me borrow the 1st Eazy Maxi-Single. It had Eazy-Duz-It which I heard on the radio all the time. I was 13 and in the car with my dad and I asked if I could put it on. Imagine my shock when it started out "well I'm Eazy E, I got bitches galore, you may have a lotta bitches, but I got much more" I hit eject instantly after that. He gave me a "wtf was that" look. But never actually spoke to me about it. It was suppose to say "I have women galore, you may have a lotta women, but I got much more" That's the day I learned I had to screen my rap music before I played it around him lol.

My intro was Ice-T's The Iceberg.....

It was released before they started putting warning labels on them and my mom was clueless. After listening to "Freedom of Speech" alone in my room, I knew this was going to explode. She really had no idea and I pretty much didn't let her know about it. If she asked to hear, I played anything mundane that I could find to throw her off.

Ice T is one rapper I can't stand....except the song Colors
