The Dolphins will forever eat shit for taking Ginn over Quinn. I'm not saying Ginn will be a surefire flop, but soon enough Quinn will show all of Miami just how stupid their GM was for passing on a franchise QB like that.

Yes, it was stupid, but I think that John Beck might surprise some people when he becomes QB.

So breaking like 30+ passing records at a university known for grooming and producing other franchise QBs doesn't give him enough merit to be a franchise QB himself? Never mind that if Russell doesn't have ONE good game against a BAD defense then Quinn is the #1 pick of 2007. That's OK though, we'll see who's HAHAHAHAHAHA'ing soon enough when he's throwing for 2-3 TDs a game after starting from Week 6 on.

Brady Quinn reminds me a lot of Ryan Leaf. Except maybe with a a slightly less impressive throwing arm. So yeah, I'm expecting a lot out of him.

You have a lot of good points, problem is in some key big games Brady showed what I believe to be his true colors. I think he will be a decent QB in the NFL, but franchise? No way.

Oh and being a cowboys fan I really hope that Quinn is starting game 6 on, that means top5 draft pick here we come!

quinn looked like a franchise qb only against navy, army, coast guards, life guards hehe, or whatever other lame teams they played, both weiss's and quinn's only claim to fame was 1 close game at home against SC

Yup. And other teams like the Bears for not moving up a few places. The only huge gap in that Chicago team and they decided to stay put and ride the Sexy Rexy train as far as it will go. Genius.

Agreed. He'll do decent in the NFL, but not nearly a franchise QB. He's like the next generation Trent Dilfer...as long as he doesn't continuously screw up and a team is built around him, he might even win a bunch of games. Then again, he could be a lot like Leaf, because he has to develop an NFL arm first...which he doesn't currently have.
