I feel soooooo horrible!!! He was all excited cause we just got back from a car trip and he ran under my feet really quickly (while i was in between 2 steps), i came down on his leg HARD.... As soon as i stepped down, he yelped, LOUD. I slipped and dove foward diving over him, thank god missing him. But he was crying REALLY LOUDLY for like 30 seconds... I was so freakin worried he broke his leg or something i didnt know what to do.

I cradled him up and started runing towards my apartment to get the car keys to take him to the vet, but as soon as i scooped him up he stopped crying. I ran up to my apartment and laid him down on the tile.... What does he do? Gets up... Runs behind me... No limping, no crying... A perfectly healthy little boy....

Whew... I just wanna check though, he would be crying and limping if it was broken right? He's only 4 months old....

i stepped on my puppy once. he cried something horrible for 30 seconds too and held the paw up. i thought it was broken but after a while i examined the paw and it seemed to function normally andhe didn't squirm when i moved it😛 just bruised. puppies are easy to break though, they like to be underfoot.

He is still is a pup so his bones are more supple then an older dogs. He should be alright keep an eye on him tho.

Puppies forget pain quickly, especially if you pay them attention 🙂
Just watch how he walks, play with him and get him moving around. Just see if he favours the leg slightly, if he does then it might warrant looking at. Otherwise he should be fine.

And it sucks to step on your dogs, but they always forgive you 😛

Oh come on...you don't think he's an idiot for hurting his dog and then posting about it. That is an idiot for you!

See, now that's the story about why cats are superior to dogs. A cat would've layed in the living room directly in the sun, not moving an inch for a good hour after you put your stuff away. Then, it would've come running when you opened the fridge, since it's now supper time and he needs fed. 🙂
Since dogs are so needy and always being underfeet, injuries like this are inevitable.
Hope he learned his lesson, probably not though. I still feel sorry for him.

i assume if he's running out and about... he should be alright. not saying this is a great analogy, but little kids often do the same thing... quick cry... then they're perfectly fine about 5-10 minutes later.

hope the pup gets better aphex, and munruss, i hope M4H and a bunch of the other ATOT'ers pimp slap the stupid outta you, as M4H so 'elegantly' puts it 😉😛

Exactly... you do know you're just drawing attention to yourself and your posting days here are limited if you keep crapping in ppl's threads like you currently are...

Come back in two weeks, but only if you are through being so rude to others.

Around 6 years ago my mom accidentally stepped on one of our cats.

black cat + dark room = l33t n|nja pussy

Poor thing had one of it's rear legs dislocated and it had to wait it out til morning when the vet opened. My mom felt sooo bad. Cat was all better after a couple weeks with a leg cast. 🙂
