When I first read that for a second I thought it said public shooting.

Then I noticed it said schooling....

Check vs cheque
etc

Even the name for the letter Z is different.

Yes, but if there is a selection of languages it would be better as something like:

English (US)
English (UK)

To have American as a language selection is kind of retarded.
