I'm too lazy/occupied to do anything past the 4th step (and in the past, the 5th one).

Then again, in 2010, I don't use the radio (not counting NPR in the car). I use mp3s on laptop + speakers to wake me up, and sometimes my phone. I use Pandora and recommendations from people to find new music.

Very true. The internet is a boon for those of us who cannot remember a band's name for more than 2 seconds

I remember the first time I used the internet back in '96. One of the first things I did was look up the lyrics to many of my favorite songs.

you were all futuristic and stuff, but then you revealed you are probably over age 50

So...Joemonkey posted this in [H]arcadio's "time warp" thread...so you needed to start a different thread about the image?

I don't listen to the radio, and I'm 23.

I have my Zune in my truck. I listen to what I want to listen to, at all times. Sometimes new music, sometimes older.

Sometimes listen to Pandora or Slacker, but the only time I listen to radio is when I am not the one in control of the music, or the only thing available is a radio/CD player - of which I own very, very few physical CDs. I own some new discs, but I rarely buy them physically, maybe once a year. And then, I just take the digital files at a high bitrate, leave the disc in the case. Zune Pass and monthly drm-free credits give me enough music discovery options.

I'm the exact same. I used to listen to the radio at work but there are so many commercials that are repeated 5-6 times a day it got annoying so I switched to Pandora/Slacker.

Lol, did you read the rest of my post? 😀

I don't use the radio because I hate poor radio reception, endless commerical blocks, and playlists I don't care for.

And I'm 23, btw, 24 next week.
