I had a tuna sammich with a side of dills for lunch and now I can't get the smell out of my hands. I swear the pickle and tuna juice has eaten through the protective outer layer of skin and is soaking through the rest of my body. Even as I sip my coffee, it is all I can smell.

I have a bit of a date tonight too so I sure as hell hope I still don't smell like fish and pickles (fickles??) later.

What's a wildcat to do? :(

Take a shower (preferably with something that smells good) and soak in the hot water for a while. Also leave conditioner in your hair while you soak, so the nice smell of your hair can overpower the "fickles" smell. Either that, or the combination will be really really gross.

Did you know that tuna is a fish and pickles don't grow on trees?

-edit-
Just scrub your hands with kitchen cleaner - that will get just about anything out.

I would try taking a long hot shower if the smell is coming from my body. I would gurgle listerine if it was coming from my mouth.

I might try vinager or tomato sauce if i was desperate but then I might just end up smelling like a salad.

I've washed my hands about 5 times now, but it's not coming out. I may try a bit of vinegar if it continues.

I'm not sure I'll have time for a shower after work, but maybe some hardcore scrubbing with some detergent and drinking some listerine will work. Hope so.

Put some windex on it.

Edit: here's how you get gas smell off your hands...should work in your case too. Baby oil mixed with sugar. Rub your hands together with that for a few minutes. Rinse, then wash with soap and water.

<-- owned Bwahaha. Though to be fair pickle juice smells much more pungent than just plain white vinegar.

Yes, seriously. It's one of those home remedy things. sugar and baby oil. I don't know how or why...but it works. If it works with gasoline, i would think it would work with anything.

That's one of those things you just wonder how they figured it out. What possibly could somebody have been doing to mix baby oil and sugar together to get gasoline smell out.

Yeah how many babies do you have to squeeze to get a whole bottle of oil?

People recommend lemon/lime to keep seafood smells of your hands. Tuna is in the same boat (pun) so try some lemon juice.
