I smell like chlorine

Even after I take a good shower🙁

Anyone have a solution besides stop swimming?

And no I would like to undergo a process whereby the final electron is added to all the chlorine atoms...they are stable thank you very much.

you have no choice but to smell like chlorine if you want to continue swimming at that establishment. Most pools use a lot of chlorine and it absorbs into your skin.

ja ever notice what else smells like chlorine?

Used to swim 6 hours a day or so everyday in high school. I know the smell. Just keep your hair short... so yo won't smell yourself as much.

an oh.. like mosh said, chlorine turns on da ladies...

EDIT ohh.. and use fragranced products that don't irritate you.

Soap = Irish Spring, normal or Icy Blast
Deoderant = Speed Stick Oean Surf
Toothpaste AND Scope are musts.

Shampoo twice with some like Suave frangranced stuff. It's like $.90 a bottle where I live so it's nearly the cheapest price around. You need to lather twice at least and use the matching conditioner with it. That's good because it does the job and it's cheap because I used to go througha bottle every 2 weeks.

Take this from a competitive swimmer for more than 10 years!

Loufa and body wash HELPS but will not eliminate the smell. There is NOTHING that I have found that will cancel the smell entirely.

Sorry, but it's not possible that I have found yet.

How many times today do you want to let everyone know you swim all the time now? Maybe you should post a thread next about what kind of goggles to get... then a thread about what type of wax you should use on your legs, and what type of cap you should wear (or if you should just shave your head).

😉
