Anyone else besides me have the entire day off? I slept until around 9 am woke up for a few minutes, laid down and went back to sleep up until 4:30 pm.

I normally never sleep in that long. I wonder if my body is in dire need of rest? Any ideas why someone would sleep in so long? I usually get around 8 hours of sleep a night.

you must be fighting off a bug

if you don't think you are getting sick, then try some exercise to wake you up

He speaks the truth. Anything more than eight hours will make you even more drowsier than if you only had a few hours of sleep. Your aim should be anywhere from six to seven hours. Most people think it's the amount of sleep they get that dictates how tired they are. It's really the time that you get up. 5 a.m. is going to feel damn early no matter if you get four hours of sleep, or ten. In saying, 10 a.m. will feel golden virtually no matter what time you go to sleep. ;)

If I am 'run down' or have a particularly exciting weekend, I can need rest like that . . . last week (well, last 2 weeks) I took Monday off to sleep (all day). But then i was also "fighting" off a flu.

:D

Sometimes on a sunday if I am really tired I will only wake up to relive my bladder, and then go to sleep. I have damn near slept about 23 hours once.

That'd be my guess too. One of the surefire ways I know I'm getting sick is if I can sleep for more than 7 hours.

Sometimes I wish I had an LCD built in to my arm, so I could glance and see what % energy I'm down.

Set my body to hybernate mode and turn off until I am 100% fully recharged.

I always sleep not enough or too much, it's never just right :( :( :(

Man I think I'm actually coming down with something. This is not good news. I know the flu is going around and I believe I'm starting to feel the symptoms that accompany the flu. Well guys, I guess I'm gonna hit the sack yet again. Hope anyone else out there who has the flu gets better.

Went on a fishing/crab trip on Sun, omg it was freakin cold. Paying for it now, been sleeping all day and trying to fight off my fever.

You're welcome, I'm going to leave it in my sig for a lil while longer to tease those who didn't get in on it ;)

Ryan,

I feel relatively rested this morning. Last night we went to sleep at 10PM, at 8PM I took two generic (Safeway) Tylenol PM caplets with water. Around 9PM I started feeling a little tired. This morning I woke up at 6:30 AM feeling fairly refreshed.

Unfortunately for the past two weeks I've been addicted to Tylenol PM which I'm sure is not a good thing. Damn addictions!
