I should have learned my lesson

On Sunday I ordered a 256MB SD card from Buy.com for $43.99 with a $20 rebate and free shipping, $23.99 for 256MB is an unbeatable deal. I was leery though because I almost always buy from Newegg.com because of their great prices and fast shipping, I order on Monday and its here by Wednesday. I was entranced by the low price that even the almighty Newegg could not beat so I took the plunge and ordered from Buy.com. Well here it is Thursday and my product still has not shipped even though it was in stock at the time of my order. I cancelled my order, sent an email explaining my disappointment, and ordered from Newegg. The price may be a couple bucks higher but the rebate was from the manufacturer so It will still apply and my piece of mind is worth something isn't it?

I've ordered dozens of times from Buy.com. They are fairly good, IMO.

I ordered my last memory card from Buy.com at about 4 something in the afternoon. It arrived the next day at noon. Sorry your luck blows

Yeah, buy.com has always done alright in my book. They've got a good operation IMHO.

Yup. Always shipped same day or the morning after, usually gets to my door before the system finishes updating.

im spoiled by the way newegg takes care of their orders. even if newegg is a bit more, i still order from them to avoid the hassles and know that it is done right.
