If you filed electronically, the check should have been well on it's way without you sending in the signature sheet.

You have until like October (or something equally ridiculous) to send it in before they start sending you mean letters.

I did file electronically, but you still need to send in your signature and W2. I used HRBLOCK.com

Hrm, I used the turbotax tax freedom on-line doohikey and I don't have to send in W2s or signature stuff. They asked a few questions about my 2001 return as an "electronic signature". The only downside is that I went to an out of state school (WI) while being a resident of ohio. I have to pay taxes on all my earnings in ohio, and on just my wisconsin earnings in wisconsin. TurboTax doesn't allow for multiple states, so I had to fill out my WI form by hand.
