I seem to have lost my Windows Activation Code

Can't find the little sticker anywhere. Will I be able to call MS to get it? Is there a way to find it in my registry?

I can take a pic of my XP cd if you want 🙂

I know the 9x and NT keys are in the registry. Try searching in the registry for "ProductKey" or "ProductID" or something like that.

Your Windows XP Product Key is located at the following place in registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ProductID

You can call MS and by telling them ProductID they can retrieve CD-Key, as well as activation number.
