I see....

sup everyone.

I am looking for a good videocrad with multimedia feautures. Four Cards cards jump out at me.

ATi Radeon 64DDR VIVO
Asus v7100 Deluxe Cmbo
ASus v7100 Deluxe
Gainward Cardexpert ..a good one

I really don't need the fastest card per say, but i want a fast card none th less. What i am really interested is win2k preformance/compatibility and the quality of the VIVO feautures. From what I've heard ATI makes the best VIVO option, but their win2k drivers suck and are plagued by compatibility probs. On the other hand, i've heard that the ASus cards have horrible VIVO quality but they coome with a lot of feautures.

I am leaning towards the Radeon. but the drivers , I've heard, are of a horid calibur. And the ASUS 7100 is only a mx400-still, it does have a tv tuner

what do think?

My budget is only about $150 becasue i am buying a 15000 rpm u2w Cheetah.

Scsi recommendations would be appreciated too.

I have no idea where people get the idea that the Win2k for the Radeon are so terrible. I got a drop of 300 points in 3DMark2001 when switching from Win98SE to Win2k with my Radeon VIVO. From 34xx in Win98 to 31xx in Win2k.

BTW, I'm using the 3224 drivers in Win2k and the 7115 drivers (if I remember right) in Win98SE.

Edit: OK, after thinking about it for a minute or 2, I understand that ATI has had terrible driver support in the past but they've really changed with the Radeon. They use to have a new driver out ever week or two up until about a month or so ago...and I guess that is just because they're gearing up for Radeon 2.
