I see some weird things sticking out behind my tongue, near that ball thing, feels like a soar throat.....what is it?

behind my tongue, near the little jiggly ball thing, i see 2 things protruding out. lately it's been feeling as if i have a "specific spot sore throat." it feels as if i have a sore throat on the right side of my behind-the-tongue area. i fear to ask, but, what is this?

Actually, like creedog said those are your tonsils. They usually aren't that visible unless they are infected, which yours probably are since you have a sore throat. As they say, 'if symptoms persist, consult your physician.'

Sometimes I get this stupid white plauqe looking thing stuck to the back of my throat. And no, it's not herpes. I know a few other of my friends said that they have had that too. You can cough really hard and spit it out, and it smells awfully horrible.

Yes, you can take the color out of your hair with hydrogen peroxide. But, it's a great antiseptic solution. It's good for cleaning up cuts and scrapes. It also makes a pretty good mouthwash if you have a sore in your mouth, or you can gargle it whem you have a sore throat.

hmm, i don't think that i could gargle hydrodren peroxide in order for it to be effective. if i tried to let it go that far down my throat, i'm pretty sure i'll swallow it. so does anyone know, is it contagious? my girlfriend is kinda freaked out about whether or not it's okay to kiss (with tongue).

The infection isn't contagious, but what caused the infection in the first place is problably contagious...at least I think so.

Now, I only use it once every other day after flossing or dilute it with water.
