"I saw your web site" e-mail

This is interesting. I just received the following e-mail (quoted verbatim below, I hyperlinked the URL quoted in the msg). What I find interesting is that the sender had to go to my signature to get my e-mail, as it is a Hotmail address (unusable on these forums), and that the URL referenced is clearly not my site. I want to believe that there is not a single bot in existence this sophisticated to extract my e-mail address from a page of Cold Fusion HTML (hey, I am naive when I have a cold 😉). Anyone else get this message or is this simply another random occurrence of spam?

I get these ALL the time! Apparently I keep requesting free analyses of bigbigsavings, but I just never follow through with them. Shame on me, lol.

you answered your own question.. your e-mail is in your sig, making it exponentially easier for the bot to get it in the first place. If anything, this is a dumber both than one that would pull it out of your profile. 😛
