Ever hear of Floyd Mayweather? Unbeaten boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has posted a swipe at the New York Knicks' point guard sensation on Twitter.

Mayweather posted : "Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don't get the same praise."

So, If J. Lin said" If an African American got accepted to Harvard, Stanford, M.I.T., Medical,Dental Or a Law school and posted "What's the big deal about an African American getting accepted into a Professional school? My Asian-American brothers and sisters get into these schools all the time, and don't get the praise they deserve."
Would this hypothetical statement be accepted as being equally benign? And if not, why not?

He's taking out his hatred towards Asians on Jeremy Lin because he doesn't dare provoke Pacman. Move along, nothing to see here, just another hoodlum/hoodrat being an idiot in front of millions.
 
I dunno, but next time the subject comes up, I'm going to use something in that vein for trolling purposes. Something like, "Big deal, white people and Asians have been doing that for years without accolades and now we're supposed to get excited about it"?

That gonna get some quality rebuttals I bet.

Mayweather is an equal opportunity troller; even if people hate him, they'll watch his fights in hopes that he'll lose. In the end, more money for him. Whereas many forum trolls can only get a reaction and sometimes a ban, he gets a reaction and more money.

now what would be interesting is if they instituted affirmitive action in sports. Imagine if every basketball or football team was required to have 1 asian on their squad. That would be awesome!

wish I could box like Floyd. Dude is a beast. There's a dude at my gym that does the shoulder roll but Floyd has it down to a science.
