Plus I'm pretty sure you'd like to have at least a single luxury standard, I remember Clarkson saying you pretty much the only thing you get standard is the car. Everything else is an optional extra you have to pay for.

Anything else = weight. The goal of this car was to be as light as possible.

I believe power windows is optional for this car.

For those of you saying there is so much more for the money seem to miss the point of this car. It's not a comfortable daily driver. These are race cars stripped of luxurious extras.

Frankly, I'm disappointed they're even an option.

It looks like they would need to make one with a moon roof so Ill be able to stick my head out to drive. Are people just getting smaller and I haven't noticed? Do us big tall guys have to chop our legs off to fit in with all you normal people?

It's not like I drive a tank, but that car looks kind of puny.

That's because it's not a supercar. It's a $50,000 car.

damn, proves you dont need horse if you dont have weight and have extreme handling. the heavy muscle cars can't manuever...
i still would like a viper, or preferably a challenger... but that would be a great car to supe up some more for the racetracks.

OP needs a better picture; that car was in the way of whatever it was he wanted (I presume the bicycle btw).

The Exige is an amazing car. The handling and steering feedback is stunning. It's just worlds better than an S2000, Miata, or whatever.

Some people like the spartan interior, others do not. I personally would rather have a focused vehicle like that, with all of its pluses and minuses, than a jack of all trades like the M3.

The exige is what, like 15K more than an elise, despite having the same chassis/powertrain?

I remember glancing through an article that suggested the difference is largely in the aerodynamics work and it actually made a substantial difference in a high speed track.

$8k difference ($42,990 vs $50,990)

Aerodynamics differences
Chassis stiffness
Better seats
Different wheels

Few other odds and ends too.
