and I think it was really him

link

only because he was pulling up to park as I was walking out. Dude was in a brand new black hummer with massive chrome rims, and he asked if the black bmw was mine and I said yes. He was backing up into the spot next to it. He told me I had a nice ride and he was paranoid about hitting it because he just got his hummer and wasnt used to the big ride. He was laughing and such.. seemed like the happiest guy I ever met. Thugs that are barely able to afford a hummer dont act like this guy did.

But I know it was him, I've seen him on Dave Chappelle and other stuff enough to recognize his voice and characteristics. He looked just like him, was happy and seemed rich in life, had the same personality, and his voice sounded just lke him. If I know any better, it was him.

Mos Def is awesome. At first I thought you were saying that he's a thug and I was going to flame you.

no, not a thug at all. He seemed like a successful black man driving a nice ass hummer, enjoying life, and had the smile to match.

dude always seemed cool and down to earth to me. for a artist turned actor i think he made the transition pretty good; better than most. he was solid in 'something the lord made', so cool to hear that he was humble.
