I rubbed one out!

i had two dead pixels on my new Thinkpad T23. i didn't think that IBM would replace the LCD based on only two dead pixels. I took my T-shirt and gently rubbed on the two dead pixels.

*poof*

they're gone....woohoo!

Umm how much force you put into it?

not too much. i put my finger behind my t-shirt (a clean cloth would have probably been better 😛) and just did it lightly until the screen kind of did that ripple thing.
