i rode a segway today (IT)!!! im definitely buying one!!

Alright, I was working at a car wash to raise money for our school drama club, and this guy pulls up in a big rig. We start washing it and he says to us stop for a minute, he wants to get something out of teh back seat. He pulls out a Segway and I immediately recognize it. He set it down and just flew away. He came back like 20 mins later and started telling us all about it. Apparently he is good friends with the inventor, and he was given one as a gift. He said he wasnt allowed to sell it or let anyone take videos, and there were other restricitons too, i forget what they were. Anyways, I ask the guy how long it takes to get used to it and he tells me like 15 seconds. Then he offers me a chance to ride on it!! I was in awe at the ease of use. After about a 5 second balance period where i had to trust the machine to hold me up, it was like natural motion only easier. I'm definitely buying one of these when they come out!!!

its fast, i think it can go about 25-30 miles an hour, it is powerful, it can stop on a dime from full speed, you dont even really have to move, its more like think u wan tto go and you go, and thinkg you want to stop and u stop....it can stop and balance you on ahill, it can go up and down any hill, it has an amazing turning radius... 0!! its nearly impossible to fall off of! the only time the guy crashed is when he was showing us off roading and he hit the side of a curb and even though he corrected it, it stood and he fell
