I received a Google Music beta invite

I got mine yesterday. I've been uploading my music. the upload is s-l-o-w.

i've played a few songs from my phone and it works pretty well, will know more once i get everything up on there.

I just discovered that was even an option. I figured the first round would be direct invite to active accounts using certain services, they've done that in the past iirc.

Here's to hoping I get one. That would be neat to give a try.

I didn't receive an invite email...went to the webpage and it stated I was invited. Hurray

Got my invite yesterday while at work and setup it on my laptop. Since I have everything I typically listen to on that machine, I started the upload. Realized about an hour in that I was at work and should wait until I get home to upload. Luckily, the connection I use is burst-able to 1Gb so we don't see any real affect.

got the invite. like others have said, uploading takes a while. i hope they do neat stuff with this service...as of now, amazon seems better especially with any music bought on their store being free to upload

Got mine last night. was please to be preloaded with a shitload of free music, and particularly the big-band stuff.

I must be blind, because I can't see how to remove artists/albums/songs from the library. I said yes to the free songs with the intention of going through them and keeping those I like, but I don't see where I can delete things.

Wondering whether it's worth it to upload all the uncompressed versions of my CD collection, or if they'll transcode FLAC down forever.

Got mine too. Set it up on my computer, Transformer and my Droid. What I can't figure out is my Droid doesn't show up as an authorized device, yet I can see all my music from my Droid, even stuff that was only on my computer. The computer and Transformer show up though. So it works on the Droid, but the device isn't authorized? Don't get it.

im curious what is questionable music? they either have to assume you own all of it or non of it. would like to know how that works

I uploaded mine but it skipped close to 10% saying there wasn't any music in the file. Don't know WTF that was about.

Does anyone know if you can sync only playlists? And do changes to that playlist get automatically synced?
