I was using a 3000+ A64 but it was my friends so out of his niceness he let me use his old 478 motherboard / Celeron 2.20 Northwood. I plan to get Counter-Strike Source, but I don't want to play it with mediocre graphics and only run it @ 20-30 frames. My graphics card is a XFX 6600GT 8X 128MB 128BIT. I'm also running Windows XP Home SP1 and 1024MB DDR333 Samsung. I really, really want this game, but I want to play it on high with atleast 40 constant frames.
 
You should be OK, I played it with my P4 2.4 & 9600XT and it ran well

I'm not sure about your CPU, but your graphics card looks fine to run up to 1280x1024, probably with minimal or no AA.

In other words it should be fine unless you own a high end monitor.
