The only thing I have purchased for my overclocking project is a

1.9 Brisbane for $65

My budget is 470 (excluding the brisbane I purchased) including the case and minus the Ram.

Can you guys recommend me a motherboard you guys use that will cause me little to zero problems. I could have done the research myself but it seems like everyone has something bad to say about every single motherboard. DFI ASUS Gigabyte ETC. So I don't know what to choose. I also need some recommendations for a Video Card.

7600gt for videocard, should come at 100$ or so, with 256mb. DFI should be awesome for oc-ing, or so I hear, but don't come to cheap I think.

you gotta think abt how much you wanna oc that brisbane though, gotta take your ram into account too when ocing.
