What carried episode 3 was the assumption that it couldn't be done.
I know I went to see how george would pull it off.
I was going to write a logn shpeal here, but all I will say is this:
In these past three movies, the emphasis has been on creating actors out of nothing through CGI, and whether it was intended or not, on overshadowing the skill of the real actors. WHether George made everyone hold back or jsut plain didn't know how to direct, I found the fictional characters to be much developed than their warm-blooded partners in crime, and in the end, that served no purpose since movie -goers expect good acting from every cast member.
The story was great. Frankly, the story was epic. Just thinking about the story makes me realize who wonderful George's mind really is. Seeing those CGI scenes is inspiring because in the past, one could only imagine those things, and to see it on screen is...
While George's visions were beautiful, something simply was not there, and these movies will be remembered for their shortcomigns rather than their sucesses.
